2012年底宣佈結束個人音樂活動的日本創作才女YUI在以個人名義謝幕後並沒有離開音樂，而是聚集了三位她所欣賞的音樂人，力邀他們成立樂團FLOWER FLOWER，並於2013年起以樂團形式重新開始音樂活動。由主唱兼吉他手yui、鍵盤手mura☆jun、貝斯手mafumafu，及鼓手sacchan所組成的FLOWER FLOWER於2014年末發行了首張專輯《実》，首週登上ORICON公信榜第五名的位置，正式宣告YUI回來了!!
FLOWER FLOWER 2015年開春第一彈帶來的是用點綴四季的迷你專輯《色》(日文音同「四季」)，專輯收錄了四首以春夏秋冬為靈感的歌曲以及搭配的間奏。四首歌也分別做為由日本漫畫改編的電影《little forest》的四個章節的主題曲。特典DVD也利用電影片段，製作出傳遞歌曲意境的四支音樂錄影帶！
