樂團的大提琴手葉薰（林志玲 飾）因為三年前的未婚夫許卓（高以翔 飾）因車禍缺席婚禮而受到傷害，三年來美麗高雅的她雖然身邊追求者不斷，自己卻無法再愛上一個人。不期然的是，黃達（黃渤 飾），一個平凡的不能再平凡，在相親路上飽受挫折的包工頭闖入她的生活，打破了葉薰原本寧靜的生活。二人因為一次黃達幫葉薰解圍了一場演變成鬧劇的相親而相識，葉薰更是幫黃達要回了被拖欠許久的工程款。在一來一往的相處中，黃達逐漸被葉薰獨特的氣質吸引，不顧一切的展開了對葉薰的愛情攻勢。而葉薰也在想方設法的回絕黃達的過程中對這個執著的為自己付出的男人漸生情愫。然而就在葉薰為黃達的真情所動時，消失了三年的許卓重新出現在了她的生活中，成了二人感情的最大障礙…...
