紅遍大中華的天王巨星Michael（古天樂飾）與國內知名女星圓圓（高圓圓飾）的大婚當日，竟被一名礦工（王寶強飾）搶婚成功！Michael情傷酗酒，誤打誤撞登上阿秀的 （鄭秀文飾）小貨車，被載到海拔3800米的香格里拉旅館。阿秀是小旅館的老闆娘，好心收留沮喪的Michael，更無意中發現阿秀以往曾經是Michael的超級粉絲，更因此成就了她與丈夫小田（李光潔飾）的一段姻緣，然而小田8年前在旅館附近的「白茫樹海」失蹤後一直生死未卜！年復一年，風雪來臨之前，搜山隊又再前來搜救小田，可惜秀的期盼再度落空。秀崩潰絕望，縱身樹海殉情！Michael奮不顧身救回秀，悉心照料她，並勸勉她放下小田。秀不無感動，愛情不知不覺在他們之間發生了。正當秀決定踏上追求幸福之路，派出所卻傳來有關小田的消息…
