唐伯虎自少就練得一身好武功，經常惹事生非，與死黨徐禎卿、祝枝山及文徵明等被坊眾戲稱為四大損友。在一次打架事件中，唐伯虎氣死了父親，因而被母親軟禁，要他痛改前非，修心養性！唐伯虎當下唯有答應到位處山中的「清風寺」好好讀書，並許下毒誓，不再使用武功。一心以為到「清風寺」後就能大解放的唐伯虎，懷著雀躍的心情上山。怎料卻因此而引發出連串離奇的事件，改變了唐伯虎的一生！其後更遇上倩倩，並與她結下不解之緣…
