一群「阿珠媽」合約員工每天在大型超市安份守己，笑著應付顧客各種無理要求。當模範職員善熙 (廉晶雅 飾) 捱過五年終於有機會轉正式員工，以爲可以與兒子（D.O. 飾）慶祝兼重修關係時，卻突然與其他員工齊齊接到無故解僱的通知！受到不合理待遇，善熙決心與單親媽媽 (文晶熙 飾)、清潔阿姐 (金姈愛 飾) 等人，發動罷工，留守超市！
她們連日和平靜坐，卻等不到管理層的回應，甚至遭到警方武力鎮壓。然而，這群師奶有勇無懼，千方百計抗爭到底，只為一個請求：「我們不奢想甚麼，只是希望你們聽聽我們的聲音。」本片啟發自真人真事，為當下無數遭剝削壓榨的合約勞工發言，入圍多倫多國際電影節。
