在洛杉磯當侍應生的平凡少女姬蒂（Leslie-Anne Huff飾）擁有一種不可告人的神奇能力：對臨近生命終結的人預告死亡。一天，她在餐廳上遇上死期將至的食客積遜(Anthony Chaput飾)，原來積遜亦擁有另一種奇異的能力︰體驗多重生命的「蜂巢意識」。二人基於對來世好奇，達成一個古怪的協議。在積遜死後，姬蒂遠赴香港，與積遜靈魂的「另一半」酒保達倫(陳奕迅飾)碰面，接下來發生更令人意想不到的離奇事件……
