在《死亡筆記》系列憑Ｌ一角走紅國際的新一代男優松山研一，今回再與「死亡」結緣，卻不再做正義之師，而是突破型仔形象，首度以「牛蒡男」及「惡魔Band友」姿態亮相。根岸崇一(松山研一飾演)本來是一個夢想成為型格音樂人的大好青年，卻硬被唱片公司捧為惡魔系Death Metal Band的主音「Johannes Klauser 二世」。但命運弄人，如此悲劇式的安排，卻變成令人爆笑的喜劇。「Johannes Klauser 二世」的白臉邪魔形象大受歡迎，唱片更大賣特賣，DMC樂隊搖身一變成為備受注目的人氣樂隊，而根岸宗一從此踏上死亡金屬不歸路，以台上台下兩個身分過日子。負責演繹這角色兩個不同形象的松山，今次會再次展展示其超凡演技。
《爆粗Band友》【Detroit Metal City】（簡稱DMC）是近年瘋魔日本新一代的「死亡金屬」漫畫。死亡金屬，是指音樂派別Death Metal。【DMC】在日本掀起沸騰熱話，並開創了Death Metal漫畫之潮。在萬眾期待之下，作品終於被搬上銀幕，並被喻為2008必看電影。
