梁錚錚，一位患自閉症兒童的年輕母親，從北方的冰天雪地來到了「中國製造之都」—東莞，去尋找她的丈夫。她發現自己獨自身處於這個巨大的城市，什麼也沒有，只有她的智慧和信念一直支撐她。她漸漸意識到她的丈夫是無處可尋，於是就在一家收入剛夠養活自己和她的小男孩的工廠打工。經過錚錚一番努力工作，她搬進了新的房子，甚至找到了新的愛情，生活充滿了新的希望。但是照顧她自閉的兒子卻給她的生活帶來了巨大的挑戰，似乎是小男孩阻止了她通往幸福的道路，然而事情並非如此…
