吳迪(小瀋陽 飾)是一個平凡的小鞋匠，
日復一日的過著恬淡的日子。一天，一名女扮男裝的俠客
月露(林熙蕾 飾)來找他補鞋。吳迪為了幫助月露追捕通緝犯
─ 田扒光而意外捲入打鬥。
這段奇遇讓他燃起了俠客夢和相思病。
同時，京城裡，皇上也正因”月露”娘娘的擅自離宮而苦惱著，
大太監便建議皇帝舉辦武林大賽，吸引月露參加，
並且安排月露成為冠軍，以讓皇帝與娘娘重修舊好。
消息發佈之後，被蒙在鼓裡的月露興高采烈要回宮參賽。
吳迪為了交還月露遺落的鞋子也踏上了驚險刺激的旅途，
先是在船上遇見綁著炸彈的河盜( 趙本山 飾)，又遇見
了會吃人的”火工頭陀”（吳宗憲飾），
還有大內高手”楊過”（曾志偉飾）和 “ 神農教主” (恬妞飾)，
自此引起了一場烏龍百出的武林混戰。
