人生有個真正朋友，的確好，那是人生的幸運。兩星期前，外來殺手司徒春運(杜汶澤飾)，失意編劇諸葛頭揪(王祖藍飾)；一個冷酷，一個婆媽，各不相干的兩個人，交上好運，相遇了。患了健忘症的夕陽殺手(許紹雄飾)與拍擋春運在來港途中失散，好在早前約定在某大廈的天台會合。春運獨自來到，拍擋沒有出現，但寒流出現了。他在天台不支暈倒，拉倒了頭揪家的天線。熱心兼孤獨兼渴望友誼的頭揪把春運救回家，百般照顧，冷酷無情的春運毛骨悚然，起了殺意，可惜身體虛弱，力不從心。頭揪有一個思覺失調的女友——天愛(薛凱琪飾)，她渴望戀愛，頭揪對她越好她越發癲，甚至對他作出肉體攻擊，但隨即後悔，哀求原諒。在兩人友誼最濃的時候，夕陽殺手來了，殺人任務展開之前，夕陽提醒春運︰「殺手，是不可以有朋友的。」，說罷把槍交給春運，要春運解決頭揪，而一直追查殺手的警方也來了……
