《一路有你》講述的是中港貨櫃車司機 - 許城亮(古天樂飾)意外地撞死了剛懷有身孕 - 陸茵(黃奕飾)的丈夫，出於愧疚及在同居女友 - 蘇珊(莫文蔚飾)之體諒下，亮想盡辦法希望可以對茵有所補償。兩人相處之下；其感情也有了微妙的變化，茵在偶然之下得知一直照顧自己善人原來是撞死丈夫之人；因無法面對亮，只有把餐館結束後帶著兒子回鄉重過新生活。此時蘇珊亦沒法忍受此三角關係而向亮提出分手。亮嘗試回到自己過往的生活，卻發覺一切都不復從前，由於對茵的不捨；決定回國內找尋他一直相信的東西，但餐館已關門，中國那麼大，要到那裡才能找到茵……？
